News - St. Tammany Health System - St. Tammany Health System: Paul Clifton was in the middle of a workout at the Cardiac Rehab gym at St. Tammany Health System's Paul D. Cordes Outpatient Pavilion.
Then it happened.
WHEW! I missed the after life again..
Thanks to a great team of people for saving my life.
It was a hot year. I had the heart issue. The heat was tough and so were the mosquitoes.
I will be doing updates very soon. Be patient.

WoW!
I was doing cardiac rehab after having a stent adjustment in March. Good thing I was sitting down for the exercise when it happened.
I flat-lined.
Died dead. almost 2 minutes .
The great angel nurse who was there had done chest compressions and then used paddles. As I was later told the details.
Then she was determined to get me back.
Then she went back on and crushed a rib and then I popped back.
It is now July 8, 2024.
I am doing well after the Pacemaker defibrillator unit is working. I am pacing less than 3% on each months activity report. It connects to my Android phone.
My 12 week period of full recuperation will be July 25th.
I am doing great. I finished cardiac rehab a few weeks ago.

When we did the chimney swift chute in the back building, we designed swing down doors so we could open it and check on the birds and we were able to clean the bird poop out.
We would sit in the yard and there were hundreds of Chimney Swifts swarming into and out of the chimney.
